Webinar: Elements of Chapter One – Balancing Information with Intrigue

Date(s) - 01/17/2017
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Webinar with Andrew Karre

No need to venture out into the cold for our meeting this month! On January 17, the Northern Ohio chapter will be hosting Andrew Karre, executive editor of Dutton Books for Young Readers, for an online presentation.

It’s possible for a first chapter to fail by being too informative and not nearly intriguing enough. We’ll talk about finding the balance point where readers find themselves hopefully confused rather than awash in mere information.
